Don Hemple leads Lincoln in Ohio
Don Hemple has joined Lincoln Printing as our regional sales executive for northwest and west central Ohio.
Don has more than 30 years of management and sales experience in the newspaper industry. A native of Cleveland, he earned a bachelor's degree in journalism at Bowling Green State University and began his career with a seven-year stint in sales management at the Toledo Blade. More recently, Don has served as publisher, general manager, and director of marketing for newspaper groups in Ohio and Indiana. Before joining Lincoln, Don was the publisher of the Delphos Herald Business Journal.
Outside of the newspaper industry, Don has served in sales-management positions for several large industrial companies. Over the course of his career, Don has been involved in corporate sales training and a featured speaker during newspaper-industry conventions. He's also won numerous awards for sales.
"I've thoroughly enjoyed my time in the newspaper industry," Don says. "Now I'm looking forward to helping Lincoln Printing's clients achieve their objectives through new media."
Don's wife, Ellen, is a retired teacher. Their daughter Heather is a high school teacher, and she and her husband have presented Don and Ellen with two grandsons. Don is an avid golfer during his leisure time.
